Quality Assurance Engineer – Calibre Licensing
We are looking for a highly motivated Quality Assurance engineer to work in the tight knit Licensing team of the Calibre business unit. We want an individual who pays good attention to detail, is logical and has an analytical mind-set, with strong problem-solving skills is desired. The successful candidate will possess the combination of education and experience listed below.
Responsibilities:
You will be part of a team that is entrusted to qualify Calibre Licensing module, including the design, development, and execution of application specific functional and regression tests used to measure the quality, adaptability, performance, and supportability. The individual will work closely with the software, quality engineers and product management team to help deliver timely product releases with the highest quality.
We expect you will have wide range of responsibilities – not just test writing! There will be plenty of opportunity to learn new technologies and grow. We will train you so that will partner with and educate Calibre product quality assurance teams to build up a comprehensive licensing regression suite. Additionally, you could grow capabilities to maintain licensing file and web apps.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
BS/MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering - related field
Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating system environments
Knowledge of shell scripting and interpreted software languages (Tcl/Tk, or Python, etc.)
Knowledge of software quality assurance processes and experience with maintaining regression test suites
Self-motivated, trustworthy and able to work independently
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
BS/MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating system environments
Knowledge of shell scripting and interpreted software languages (Tcl/Tk, or Python, etc.)
Knowledge of software quality assurance processes and experience with maintaining regression test suites

The salary range for this position is $82,900 to $149,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
