Amazon Games is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the New World team. New World is an open world MMO that pits players against the haunted wilderness of Aeternum, a mysterious island in the twilight of the Age of Exploration.

Key job responsibilities
Become an expert in the game's features
Develop the test plan for your assigned functional area.
Test and report on functional issues, system stability, performance and general usability
Lead a group of testers through the execution of your test plan
Leverage game telemetry to identify and troubleshoot issues
Relentlessly pursue the root-cause of defects
Prioritize and categorize quality issues based on what will have the most impact on the customer experience
Advocate for the customer in discussions with development peers and QA leadership
Continuously learn and remain curious

Basic Qualifications
4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
3+ years of Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
Experience in automation testing
Experience in manual testing
Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $91,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
