Quality and Performance Management (QPM) is responsible for the performance management, quality oversight, and work management for the Distribution Design Organization. The team is responsible for effectively prioritizing strategy, quality, production of work plans and KPI's, and developing holistic performance plans.
The Quality and Performance Management Senior Specialist assists with the development and support of the long-term vision, KPIs, and strategic plan for Distribution Planning. This includes the gathering and analyzation of key data points to create effective stories through data and visualization, collaborating with internal stakeholders throughout SCE to support initiatives, and help create measurable targets to support Company goals such as Capital Execution.

Collect, document, analyze, and draw conclusions/recommendations based on captured data and information from various database sources Perform data analytics and development of short- and long-term strategies to improve overall Distribution Design quality and performance and support achievement of objectives and related goals Conduct quality reviews of Distribution Design work orders to support corporate goals and continuous improvement Support and/or lead in the development, roll-out, ongoing maintenance, and future improvements of quality and performance dashboards to ensure they are implemented consistently and adopted across the Distribution Design organization for reporting and trend analysis purposes. Extract data for special projects or ad hoc requests, maintaining analytical support for several projects simultaneously within the team's target dates. Act as a key resource to Advisors, Management, and internal stakeholders regarding data sources, extraction methods and data interpretation Act as a SME for technical and process questions for various reports and performance metrics. Develop and conduct presentations to management for decision-making and status updates Develop and submit quality and performance reports, and complete internal and external data requests Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
The Essentials
Five or more years of performance management, work management and/or project analysis experience Three or more years of experience working within electrical utility service planning.
The Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in applicable profession, business or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Demonstrated experience utilizing data Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills. Good interpersonal and teamwork skills. Experience running reports and queries using Power BI, SAS Enterprise Guide and/or SAS Viya. Experience performing detailed analysis, extracting data, drawing conclusions from large datasets with compound information, and showcasing results and recommendations to management and key partners Familiarity with Distribution Design or Distribution Construction Activities Strong oral and written communication skills Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

The position's work mode is remote. Employee is able to work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an SCE facility on occasion.
