The Role:
The purpose of this role is to build a strong culture in the area of Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QHSE) Management systems in accordance with the relevant standards and Bureau Veritas Pacific requirements.
This position will support and provide direction within the QHSE team and provide direct assistance to company managers in ensuring that Bureau Veritas personnel comply with this QHSE Management Systems.
This position will contribute to continually improving, developing, and implementing QHSE procedures and processes to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the relevant standards and requirements.
Responsibilities:
Maintain QHSE Systems
QHSE Audits (Internal, NATA, Certification Body)
Review QHSE Performance
Workers Compensation
Assessments, tenders, questionnaires, etc
Monitor Legal Compliance
Look for opportunities to continually improve QHSE System
Safety Management Tasks
Assist QHSE staff with other QHSE issues
Knowledge/Experience:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong PC Skills
Working knowledge of laboratories or inspection processes in a related field (desirable)
Knowledge of common processes or equipment (desirable)
Previous experience working in or with QHSE systems (desirable)
Education:
Diploma or degree in related field
Internal auditing training (desirable)
Competencies:

Ability to work under pressure and to scheduled deadlines
