Job Description Summary

　　Job Purpose:

　　• Responsible for Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety matters at the Power Station

　　• Shall ensure that QEHS activities are monitored, controlled, and reviewed

　　• Provide EHS support for the site and will also maintain in-depth knowledge of national and local regulations

　　• Coordination with client and subcontractors for QEHS issues

　　• Establish and keep the QEHS management system in the plant, including applicable certifications

　　Roles and Responsibilities

　　Set up and implement the Environmental, Health & Safety Management system.Co-ordinate the activities of the Health, Safety & Environment Committee.Carry out regular QEHS audits.Monitor daily work activities in relation to environment, health and safetyCoordinate site emergency plan and drillsInvestigation of EHS accidents and incidents.Subcontractors EHS coordinationFollow up of environmental, health and safety concerns.Ensure completion of mandatory EHS trainingWastes segregation and proper management according to law.Emissions equipment- CEMS maintenance and audits according to legal requirementsRisk assessment elaborationLead site risk elimination/risk reduction activitiesEnsure that staff is in position of proper PPE according to risk exposure.Work with external bodies in matters of environmental, health, safety statutory when applicable.Ensure that the position and all employees, sub-contractors and suppliers meet client's requirements as well as quality, environment and health and safety requirements, ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001.

　　Required Qualifications

　　Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or universityQuality, Environment and Health & Safety- ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 training, or accredited experience.Minimum of QEHS experience in an industry or manufacturing environmentThe ability to speak and write in Spanish and English

　　Desired Characteristics

　　Knowledge of engineering practices, functions and processes of Power Stations.A detailed knowledge of the legislation associated with environmental and safety aspects of the plant.A detailed knowledge of company Quality and EHS requirements.Good communication skills.
