UKG is seeking a Quality Software Engineer to join our extremely talented Compliance team! Our QA group leverages their subject matter expertise to contribute to design conversations, reproduce and test solutions to reported defects, anticipate areas of concern in proposed features, and map out business scenarios that should have more comprehensive test coverage added. All of this conducted in a highly collaborative environment.
As a Quality Software Engineer you will be part of the continued improvement and growth of our UKGPro Software Solution as well as a valued contributor to delivering high quality features to our US Clients. Job Responsibilities:
• Execute and deliver on test plans and reports
• Understanding of Business Requirements and execute tests directly related to those requirements
• Understanding of software development testing methodologies (Performance, White and Black Box testing)
• Understanding of the development and execution of acceptance criteria
Ability to document test efforts and communicate results to a variety of technical/non-technical individuals
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Prior experience with a CI system (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience with the SDLC
- Self-motivated, positive team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 2 - 4 years of experience creating documentation and communicating results to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Understanding of automated tests using C# or automated testing tool (Selenium, TestComplete)
- Ability to code basic SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
- Computer Science/Business undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting US clients with Payroll related issues.
