We are currently looking to fill a QA Project Specialist position. The QA Project Specialist supports the achievement of Quality Assurance (QA) objectives by planning, coordinating and leading project activities. This role manages cross-functional projects as both a facilitator and organizer, using knowledge within the pharmaceutical industry and project management techniques.
As a QA Project Specialist, a typical day might include the following:
Lead cross-functional projects and develop project timelines.
Identify and lead project priorities and cross-project dependencies.
Collaborate with functional leads/subject matter experts in driving execution and removing constraints that prevent advancement of efforts/projects.
Proactively engage in activities to meet schedules and resolve issues.
Identify skills needed for project management and deploy and maintain trainings and/or tools.
Develop and manage content by obtaining relevant information through research and/or collaboration with subject matter experts.
Partner with the areas we support to identify areas for improvement that have the most impact across IOPS.
Help to establish and maintain materials, policies, and guidelines to support the increased visibility of QA across IOPS.
Measure the effectiveness of QA processes and tools with the goal of continuously improving to further engage stakeholders.
Perform other support responsibilities as requested.
Support QA project initiatives for a broad range of topics as the team evolves.
This role might be for you if:
High computer literacy with capability in email, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and related project, business, and communication tools.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and other project methodologies.
Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to manage many diverse assignments simultaneously and changing priorities.
Motivated, independent, self-sufficient, and able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal direction.
High level of professionalism and confidence to work effectively with employees from all levels of the organization.
Skilled in motivating, presenting with and teaching/training others, using both technical and non-technical language to explain sophisticated subjects and processes.
Strong collaborative skills with the ability to seek and value input.
Sound judgment, initiative, and interest in creative problem-solving.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills for a variety of audiences.
Ability to consistently achieve high quality and compliant deliverables.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in related field and the following minimum amounts of relevant experience for each level:
Associate Specialist – 0-2+ years
Specialist – 2+ years
Senior Specialist – 5+ years
May substitute proven experience for education requirement. Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.

$58,480.40 - $124,300.00
