The Impact You'll Make in this RoleAs a Quality Assurance Microbiology Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:* Executing testing of 3M products in accordance with standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality control plans* Performing all general laboratory functions including preparing biological media, reagents, glassware, and equipment for bacteriological and chemical testing while maintaining a sufficient supply of consumable materials for executing tasks.* Environmental monitoring of air and water including bioburden, bacterial endotoxin and viable and non-viable particulate.* Issuing Certificates of Analysis and Certificates of Compliance as requested* Assisting in the management of non-conforming material and out of specification investigations* Participating in the development of new test procedures and modification of existing procedures as necessary as well as participating in ongoing product and process improvement efforts* Maintaining a well-organized, sufficiently detailed laboratory notebook documenting work and analyses performed; enters data into appropriate databases as necessary
