Job Description
The QA Engineer role owns responsibility of validating feature engineering changes. Validation involves both manual and automation testing. Our candidates are expected to be resourceful and timely, dogmatic in their approach on reporting defects, and can seamlessly communicate with team members and stakeholders. The focus is on manual testing with an evolution into automation.
* Manual testing on the ecommerce platform.
* Participate and contribute to continuous improvement of our QA processes through frequent self-evaluation and ideation.
* Take ownership for the overall B2B customer experience.
* Consistent contributions to the collection, organization, and maintenance of manual test cases within Azure DevOps.
* Active participant in feature planning through ensuring clear and concise acceptance criteria during agile story refinement.
* Test in-sprint software engineering deliverables creating and tracking defects as required.
* Create test plans for new features.
* Convert manual test cases into automation leveraging Playwright or similar automation framework.
* Mentor team members and inspire through strong technical leadership with focus on ownership.
* Assist production support team execution and processes.
Skills and Requirements
* 5+ years of manual testing software engineering experience within a collaborative team environment.
* 5+ years' experience delivering within agile development methodology.
* 3+ years' experience testing ecommerce experiences null
