We are looking for a talented QA Automation Engineer to be part of the CIE (Connectivity Innovation and Experiences) validation team. The CIE team is at the forefront of software development at the client group at Intel, ensuring the best possible connectivity performance for Intel's connectivity solutions.
What's in it for you?
As part of this role, you'll integrate and develop automation and test environments, validate advanced connectivity features, and troubleshoot software issues.
The position entails various daily challenges involving SW at the application and operating system level and connectivity issues.
Job Responsibilities
Integrates, tests, installs, configures and/or supports automation software systems.Creates test plans based on product requirements.Applies advanced troubleshooting to automation and product issues.Advocates for continuous improvement to meet quality objectives while ensuring timely and efficient product release.Position may also include development of software for related improvements, additional systems and/or support and monitoring tools.
Qualifications
BSc/ MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent Academic degree.At least 8-10 years of experience in testing / validation of software products.At least 8 years in programming.Hands-on experience with scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell.Proven capabilities in creating test plans for new features.Proven capabilities in creating test environments.Experience with automation tools.Microsoft Windows internals knowledge - significant advantage.knowledge in Wi-Fi or connectivity - significant advantage

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
