Job Description:About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of relevant experience in software testing and test automation. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Cypress. In addition to technical expertise, you will be expected to work collaboratively with the development team and other stakeholders, follow Agile methodologies, and use tools like Jira and Zephyr for efficient test management.What You'll Do:Develop and implement automated test scripts using Cypress and Postman to validate software functionality, performance, and scalabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Product, Management, and Quality Assurance to understand requirements and ensure test coverageParticipate in the design and review of test cases, test scenarios, and test plansExecute automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects to the development teamWork closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve identified issuesPerform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releasesProactively identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient testing strategiesFollow Agile development methodologies and participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesUtilize Jira and Zephyr for test case management and defect trackingMeet with Product Owners to communicate test progress, results, and potential risksStay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation and quality assuranceAbout You:Deep understanding of QA and development methodologiesGood coding skills (e.g. Javascript and Typescript)Experience with a defect tracking system (e.g. Jira, VSTS, etc)Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time in a fast-paced environmentAbility of self-dependent problem-solvingUnderstanding of APIsExperience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins).Experience with Web automation testingDetail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software productsQualifications and Requirements:At least 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation using known software testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Postman, Selenium, etc.)Why You Should Work Here:The ability to work in an environment that encourages creativity and fresh ideasThe ability to be on the leading edge of SaaS driven technology solutions for capital markets and regulatory disclosure requirementsThe opportunity to join a well-established and growing company that has just completed its most successful yearPay range for this role is 100,000-150,000 depending on location and experience#RemoteAbout Us:Toppan Merrill is an equal opportunity employer (EEO) and furthers the principles of EEO through Affirmative Action.
