QA ANALYST
Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. Works on projects of moderate to high complexity within one or more development environments. Works on multiple programs/systems as a project team member. Considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system.
BE PART OF THE CONNECTION
As a QA Analyst on this team, you'll be responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. You will be involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. Additionally, this role will work on projects of moderate to high complexity within one or more development environments. You will work on multiple programs/systems as a project team member and you will be considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system.

Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs Documents all problems and assists in their resolution Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners Performs quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of system development, business/systems analysis, testing, and/or business experienceEducation: BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experienceTechnical Skills:Understanding of quality assurance process, tools and methodologiesExperience using HP Test Suite or other testing toolsUnderstanding of database schemas and querying toolsDemonstrated understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)Exposure to test automation toolsSkills:Self-starter, self-motivated, driven individualAnalytical and problem solving skillsKeen attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)Display professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretionCritical thinker, ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and maintain positive attitudeDemonstrated organizational skillsAbilities:Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverablesAbility to analyze and assist in resolving defectsAbility to work well with shifting prioritiesAbility to work with cross-functional team of internal and external resources located onshore and offshoreTravel Ability: Office EnvironmentSchedule:Full timeThis position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote days

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
