Overview
MVRM (Market & Valuation Risk Management) IT group is part of Technology Data and Innovation which owns and delivers on the Risk Finder platform to multiple stakeholders and sponsors. Risk Finder is the Bank's Risk & Capital Management platform that provides capability to calculate capital metrics, performs risk scenario analysis and portfolio risk analytics and related control functions across the Bank's business lines.Risk Finder integrates distributed high performance grid compute and big data technologies to deliver the execution and analytics at very large scale required to process the volumes of scenarios within the timeframes required. The platform leverages in house quantitative analytics and inputs to our front office pricing models to deliver full revaluation-based capital metrics across a complex derivates portfolio. Our technology stack includes Java, C, C++, PostGres, Oracle DB, Lua, Python, Scala, and Spark plus other off-the-shelf products like caching solutions integrated into one platform, which offers great opportunity for technical development and personal growth in a domain with focus on engineering and Agile delivery practices.

What You'll Do
Develop Full stack features including User Interfaces using React JS, Typescript and Server-side programming using Python; Implement, deploy, and maintain Web Based Applications
Work closely with Product Owners and fellow engineers to deliver compelling user- facing applications; Design interface between User Interface (UI) and REST service, create build pipelines using TeamCity, and translate complex technical and functional requirements into detailed designs
Analyze production bugs/issues and help fixing them properly, Maintain a working knowledge of operating systems, development environments, frontend and backend programming languages, and data architecture
Use Behavior Driven Development (BDD) techniques, collaborating closely with users, analysts, developers, and other testers. Make sure we are building the right thing
Help your team to build, test and release software within short lead times and with minimum of waste. Work to develop and maintain a highly automated Continuous Delivery pipeline
Help create a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond
Skills You'll Need
Extensive experience with Python development especially rest services, and with React libraries like React Query, Ag-Grid, React Strap, and component-driven approach
Knowledge of modern UI languages - such as React and Angular; Understanding of how Application Programming Interface (API), REST, JWT, OAuth2.0 works, ability to provide constructive feedback during API design phase, and understanding of cloud-based technologies and tools (Preference- Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, Open Shift)
Experience with unit, integration and E2E tests and framework/tools (Jest), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment or Development (CI/CD) pipelines like TeamCity, Jenkins
Ability to collaborate with various other teams, like design and product team and provide feedback during feature preparation and planning phase
Hands on experience of test-driven development and constant refactoring in continuous integration environment, and Behavior Driven Development (particularly defining requirements in a collaborative manner to ensure the team builds the right thing and create a system of living documentation)
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

Experience and knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL)
Participating fully in agile software development process through the entire software lifecycle
Must possess problem-solving and creative thinking ability
Familiarity with Risk / Investment Banking domain Knowledge
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.
The salary range for this position in Cary, North Carolina is $75,000 to $110,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
