  Work You'll do

  The Education & Workforce Development workstream is part of Deloitte's Purpose Office and works across Deloitte to build bridges and pathways between education, skills training, and employment for populations historically excluded by society. Internally, we advance efforts that promote more equitable outcomes in our own internal practices and systems. Externally, we work with client teams, social impact organizations, and coalitions to help improve and increase education and workforce development pathways to family-sustaining careers.

  As the EDWFD Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:

  Overseeing the development and implementation of a strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for the EDWFD core commitment, considering Purpose priorities, Deloitte's Talent and Workforce Frameworks, and community needsWorking across Deloitte's businesses to implement this interdisciplinary strategy, including collaborating with internal partners to develop and steward an innovative portfolio of EDWFD investmentsInteracting with senior leaders in the firm and assisting with top-priority projects with potential to significantly impact our organization, and escalating risks and issues as neededFostering synergies, connective tissue, and communities of practice across the EDWFD ecosystemOverseeing project planning and managing budget; mobilizing and managing project teams; facilitating buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levelsCoaching and empowering team members to stretch their capabilities and ensure they have the access to the right resources, within and across businesses and boards, to deliver resultsOverseeing the creation of evaluation tools to tangibly measure impact

Our goals for the Purpose Office are to drive a consistent strategy around our purpose as an organization and ultimately deepen the impact and positive change we are making for our people, clients, and communities.

  Qualifications

  Required Qualifications:

  10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degreeUnderstanding of Deloitte and how EDWFD fits into the broader (Talent and Markets) landscapeDemonstrable experience building, managing, and mentoring high performing project teams to deliver resultsProject management experience in successfully planning, managing, and delivering multiple complex projectsClient service mentality and ability to develop high degree of trust with key internal client baseStrong oral and written communication skills, including storytelling and building effective presentations for executive-level clientsStrong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skillsLimited immigration sponsorship may be availableAbility to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Demonstrated experience managing small to mid-sized teams to deliver resultsStrong client presence with experience facilitating ideation/brainstorming sessionsGeneral understanding, experience, and/or personal interest in key issues and challenges related to education and workforce developmentPrior experience with social impact-focused businesses, philanthropies, and nonprofits

  For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,300 to $296,100.

  You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
