  This role will impact business partners and processes across business groups and geographies.

  As a member of the Procure to Pay Accounting team, the Close and Purchasing Support Specialist primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  Responsible to lead close P2P (Purchase to Pay) balance sheet, provide variance analysis to Corp Vice president and execute AP (Accounts Payable) Free Cash Flow forecast for the entire corporation.Business process owner for accruals and P2P close processes.Responsible for governance and management of signature authority and approval flow P2P policies to ensure all Intel Business Units are in compliance.This role requires actively works with key stakeholders to improve and govern our systems, policies, and processes.Primary business partners for this role include employees involved in the procurement of goods and services on behalf of Intel, statutory reporting and accounting, IT, and the global supply chain and purchasing teams.

  A successful candidate will have proven experience demonstrating the following skills and behavioral traits:

  Skills to provide accounting advice and drive initiatives across groups and sites to achieve broadly defined goals and objectives.Excellent analytical, research, conceptual and planning skills and desire to challenge the status-quo.Comfortable and expert in manipulating tons of data to drive analysis and conclusions in an ambiguous environment.Skills to work on a fast-paced team and adapt to rapidly changing situations and conditions as well as a drive and bias for action.Strong partnering and communication skills are critical to success, as well as the skills to evaluate and optimize disparate information and processes.

  Qualifications

  You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  Minimum Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field with 7+ years of related practical experience on Accounting, Financial Analysis, Budgeting & Planning and forecasting. OR, Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or any other related field with 5+ years of related practical experience on Accounting, Financial Analysis, Budgeting & Planning, forecasting. Advance English skills.Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  MBA is a plus.Previous experience in Purchase to Pay Accounting

  Working Model

  This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
