Job Description

　　Job duties will include working with the K-12 Education and Outreach Project Manager. Review and edit lesson plans prior to presenting on the mobile unit. Ensure that lesson plans are stored both electronically and in printed form and available for access to oranization. Deliver lesson plans from one of the KHEL mobile laboratories after arriving to the school or community location. Collect and record pre and post-data. Work with KHEL techs, identify and secure necessary preparations for lesson plan delivery including but not limited to, supplies, equipment, transportation arrangements, etc. and additional duties to complete position requirements as needed. Establish and maintain a spreadsheet for tracking pre and post data. Summary data reports will be compiled as needed and for the closing report at the end of the project. Arrange and coordinate transportation to mobile lab sites through appropriate channels, including travel, form preparation and scheduling. Work with K-12 Education and Outreach Project Manager to maintain an updated calendar of events and scheduling. Research and become familiar with the One Health concept, infectious disease/COVID and how it relates to One Health and possible future focus. Identify and utilize educational best practices for delivering the information.
