The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for Public Affairs Communications Project Manager to support our government customer located in Oahu, HI.
Work sites/locations include on-site support at NCTF-RH offices, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, nearby venues, and Honolulu offices. Periodic meetings shall occur throughout Oahu. There is no anticipated travel outside of Oahu.
Normal business workdays are Monday through Friday during normal business hours, however, after hours support may be required at times. Facilitation, Training, CRI and Consent Order Public Meetings may occur outside of normal working hours.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure project budget for supplies and services is adhered to and any discrepancies and/or overages are reported accordingly.
Ensure all project deliverables are complete and submitted on schedule and that all meetings and/or trainings run according to plan.
Liaise and work with Government stakeholders to ensure that all contract objectives are met and ensure customer satisfaction.
Prepare contract deliverables for submission and ensure acceptance by the Government customer. Work with Government stakeholders to revise deliverables as needed.
Perform, coordinate, and oversee the production of all need meeting materials. Materials may include, but are not limited to posters, slide presentations (PowerPoint), and handout packages according to schedule.
Ensure that all materials produced for meetings will be translated into Olelo Hawaiian. On an as needed basis, provide translations to other Consent Order required languages include Ilocano, Japanese, Tagalog, and Korean. Translation services will be provided by native speakers to ensure accuracy of translation. Use of web-based, automated services (e.g. Google Translate) will not be acceptable.
Maintain data management and reporting system to track the compliance of formal and informal requests for information (RFIs) and provide support for responses to RFIs. Ensure records are entered, maintained, and track the disposition of records.
Use data management and reporting system to provide updates and ad hoc reports to stakeholders as requested.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor’s degree in related field (communications, management, hospitality, business administration, etc.) preferred.
Education may be substituted for experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) plus years of project management, event planning, or facilitator experience is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to support multiple priorities with varying deadlines.
Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with stakeholders at all levels of organizations, including military, government, and public sector.
Proven experience taking ownership of full project management responsibilities in multiple domains and ensuring all project deliverables are complete.
Expert level capabilities with the Microsoft Office suite of tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have at a minimum a favorable National Agency Check (NAC).
