The Provider Contracting Executive initiates, negotiates, and executes physician, hospital, and/or other provider contracts and agreements for an organization that provides health insurance.
The Provider Contracting Executive communicates and strategizes internally and externally contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to providers.
Typical Role Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Analyze financial impact of contracts and terms.
Maintain contracts and documentation within a tracking system.
Assist in identifying and recruiting providers based on network composition and needs.
Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.

Required Qualifications
8+ years of progressive network management experience including hospital contracting and network administration in a healthcare company.
2+ years of project management experience
Provider contracting experience, including contract preparation, negotiation and implementation, financial analysis and rate proposal development.
Ability to travel within a designated area up to 20% of the time (more information listed within additional information section).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Experience contracting with large hospital systems
Experience with ACO/Risk Contracting
Experience with Value Based Contracting
Minnesota market experience (live within region, preferred MN or surrounding area)

Location: reside in Minnesota is preferred; other location considerations: N. or S. Dakotas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas or Missouri; travel up to 20% or based upon business need
