Location: targeting Woodland Hills, CA but open to other Elevance Health office locations
** this position will work a hybrid model (remote and office) which requires working in the nearest Elevance Health office 1-2 times per week. The rest of the time would be working remotely (from home). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health office locations.
The Provider Communications Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day management and trafficking steps of moderately complex provider communication project workflows, specifically for printed provider directories.
How you will make an impact:
Works with business areas to facilitate directory development and fulfillment through multiple stages (initiation, traffic, layout, proofing, regulatory review, printing, mailing, electronic delivery, and archival) to ensure directories are delivered in a timely, accurate, and effective manner.
Coordinates activities/data with vendors and internal partners to ensure execution against contractual and requested services.
Contributes to department work streams and new or improved methods or processes to support increased efficiencies, economies, and operational excellence.
Coordinates project reviews with internal business partners, compliance, and regulatory and assists in tracking and monitoring the timely submission of state deliverables.
Seeks out opportunities for process improvements/efficiencies, and supports business initiatives (standardization, going paperless, etc.).
Minimum requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred skills, capabilities, and experiences:
Prior health care industry, Medicaid, or Medicare experience and document/process management skills, proofing, and Excel skills strongly preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $55,920 to $80,385.
