Your Role: What you'll be doing
Performing strength, fatigue and fracture analysis for Propulsion systemsand components for recurring Vehicle Systems.Candidate will be required to create analysis models, perform handcalculations and have an understanding of analysis best practices to providestrength inputs and recommendations for new designs and installations.Required to review and approve 3-D engineering layouts, 3-D models,designs / drawings and 2-D drawing changes for a variety of mechanicalsystem components.Candidate will make engineering design recommendations with consideration ofthermal, mechanical and pressure loading using appropriate materialproperties, configurations, safety factors, etc.Analysis results will be documented in strength reports. Additionally, thecandidate will support internal peer reviews, tabletop reviews and formaldesign reviews as needed. Will also need to support fast paceddesign/analysis cycles and be able to evaluate hardware non-conformances tosupport production activities.Candidate will participate in internal/external design reviews, technicalinterchange meetings (TIMs), and may be expected to present analysisproducts at preliminary/critical design reviews (PDR/CDR).

A bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field from anaccredited college or university is required.Experience in the following Finite Element Analysis tools: FEMAP; NXNastran, NASGRO.Strong self-initiative.Attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced developmentenvironment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Summary Salary Range (Colorado Only)$125,750 - $196,522
