Position Summary :
The candidate will generate biologics standard proposals varying from budgetary estimates to detailed work statements from simple to moderate complexity to fulfill specific customer requirements. They will engage with the Client on their program needs through calls and/or site visits. They will perform a technical assessment of customer requirements and work with the global technical team to develop a strategy that aligns the Customer's request with our services and capabilities. The Candidate will collaborate with technical and business colleagues to generate program scope, timelines, and approved pricing; and to deliver a high quality, robust proposal to our customers. They will present the proposal to the customer, offering solutions based on the discussion and Thermo Fisher Scientific’s global capabilities, providing technical guidance, and discussing the company’s high quality and service standards either virtually or during site visits. The Candidate may, in partnership with the Business Development Executive(s), the Senior Leadership team, engage with customers during the initial contact stage to help drive the program to contract signature.
Additionally, the candidate will participate in team and business initiatives focused on driving process improvement, efficiencies, and bringing in new offerings and other company collaborations.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate RFI/RFPs and discuss with prospective customers to ensure a technical understanding of customers’ needs and for development of an appropriate proposal approach.
Collaborate with the technical leads internally to generate a program scope that is in line with their request and services and capabilities that Thermo Fisher Scientifics has to offer.
Generate high quality proposals and supporting timeline and pricing documents for varying program types (both standalone integrated documents).This includes programs that span all clinical phases and varying molecule types (monoclonal antibodies, Fc-Fusion Proteins, Bispecific Antibodies, Recombinant Proteins and Complex proteins/enzymes).
Work closely with the Business Management and Senior Leadership team to generate and obtain approved pricing that allows the company to remain competitive based on hours estimates provided by the technical team.
Support and actively participate in customer calls to present the issued proposal and speak to Patheon’s breadth of services while providing options for services and solutions which meet the customer’s needs.
Ability to read and understand contractual terms.
Act as the liaison between technical team and the customer.
Support and lead customer visits.
Execute proposal revisions as required and to assist in driving the program from proposal to contract signature.
Liase closely with the Program Management team to transition won programs from proposals to Program Management and the execution teams through the Proposals to Project formal process.
Routinely suggest and provide updates to proposal templates (stage language, cost model, timelines, etc.) based on request from subject matter experts and/or changes in processes/procedures following a formal template management process.
Participate in proposal team and other business unit initiatives focused on process improvement, building efficiencies, and intake of new technologies and collaborations.

Ensure compliance with any site’s environment, health and safety and security policies and procedures, rules, signage, and instructions at all times while on site.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree or equivalent work experience.
Theoretical understanding of a Biologics drug substance manufacturing process and analytical support strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and high-quality standard of work.
Excellent organizational and personal time management skills
Demonstrates self-control in any situation.
Strong client-facing interpersonal skills
Strong ability to collaborate with the technical and Senoir Leadershjo[ teams internally. i
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to be able to extract detail ed information quickly and suggest solutions appropriately.
Pragmatic, proactive yet flexible approach in the working environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills both internal and external
Proficient in MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word. Preferred experience using Smart Sheet and Sales Force.
Ability to function in dynamic environment and balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to participate / lead meetings (via teleconference or face to face) in different time zones (outside of typical business work hours).
Minimal travel will be required.
