Join our diverse team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!As part of a small team, you will be responsible for implementing proposal process management for government and commercial business development opportunities. This position will include personal interaction with outside customers and internal technical staff.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to impact safe human spaceflight positively. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities:Handles high-dollar proposals with minimal to no oversightLead pursuits of any complexity as Proposal Manager with minimal to no oversight, including responses to draft RFPs, RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitations.Lead teams for proposal execution to include staff, consultants, and both internal and external resourcesWorks with outside partner agencies and organizations, customers, and vendors directly on behalf of Blue to navigate complex proposal processes and deliverablesCoordinate efforts with other internal company functions to ensure the development of efficient, executable offerings.Support proposal process development, maintenance, and implementation, including primary responsibility for process documentation, tools, metrics, and training.Assess competitor capabilities and offerings to understand the competitiveness of our market position.Provide mentorship to internal proposal personnel to improve capabilities and support career growthDevelop new and innovative solutions to complex proposal problemsPresent regularly to senior leadership internally and externally of other organizations and agencies a subject matter expertDisplay expert-level expertise and act as a peer resource in discussing technical specifications with engineering and non-engineering audiencesQualifications:Bachelors degree10+ yrs. experience in proposal management, with recent experience in marketing and sales to the governmentGovernment contracting experience, including knowledge of contract management, source selection processes, and proposal evaluationsExperience managing complex proposal deliveries to senior leadership of internal and external agencies/organizationsExperience mentoring and leading others in proposal process improvementMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylumDesired:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a technical field, or MBAExperience with broader business development activities, including marketing to commercial customersAerospace experienceAssociation of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) certification(s)Compensation range for on site Arlington, WA applicants is$132,332.25---$202,909.45 USDInclusivity StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
