Summary

DLA Piper is seeking a junior to mid-level finance associate to work in its Project Energy group, with a focus on energy transition financing matters. This position could be located in any of our US offices. As an associate you will have the opportunity to work on internationally recognized matters including novel financing deals in the energy transition space.

Minimum 3 years of experience in energy transition finance matters.

Experience handling transactions in the area of financing and MA of energy transition projects and companies, with proven experience in tax equity and other renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Work Environment

Hybrid with some in-office expectations.

Pay Transparency

In accordance with California, New York City, Washington, D.C. and Washington State Pay Transparency Laws, the pay rate for this position, if hired to work in California, New York City, Washington, D.C. or Washington State is $260,000 - $390,000. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
