The position involves close interaction with Offshore Wind Sales and Project Managers, experts from Engineering, Suppliers, EPC Contractors and local Hitachi Energy units worldwide.
The candidate we are looking for has a clear flair for sustainable energy, is highly motivated with an outgoing personality and has the experience and ability to drive the strategy and communication with our suppliers and contractors for our System Solutions and respective Service Solutions in the Offshore Wind segment.

Your responsibilities
You will develop, implement and continuously track the tender sourcing strategy for large tender Offshore projects in the area of system integration, in close coordination with Sales/Tendering and EngineeringYou develop and continuously update the project procurement plans for Offshore projects in the execution phaseYou proactively expedite your supplier contractsYou analyze the international procurement marketsYou obtain and compare suppliers offers for the main equipment and services needed for our Offshore projectsYou manage your Suppliers (supplier development, qualification, evaluation)You conduct negotiations with the suppliers and conclude the contracts under consideration of complex customer and project requirementsYou handle the procurement process in close cooperation with the project teamYou manage contractual disruptions with suppliers (claim management)
Your background
Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Management or Electrical / Industrial EngineeringAt least 3 years experience in Project Supply Chain Management within project business, preferably in the energy segmentExperience in the Offshore market is preferredVery good negotiation skills combined with a diplomatic way of closing business dealsFluency in written and spoken EnglishWillingness to travelGreat intercultural skills and interest in working within an international team
