RMC is hiring a Project Scheduler to support our customer at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Indian Head, in Indian Head, MD. The selected applicant will be expected to provide a wide variety of technical planning and resource scheduling support, and must be able to keep multiple tasks on schedule and develop work quickly and accurately.
Responsibilities:
Develop Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in MS Project, incorporating insights from project documentation and the program/project teams.
Integrate all program activities, associated interdependencies, durations, and resource requirements to construct and maintain a program-level IMS.
Provide subject matter expertise and reporting in scheduling, critical path analysis, and program coordination.
Institute and execute schedule procedures aligning with customer protocols.
Conduct and lead meetings with diverse program/project stakeholders to enhance schedule processes.
Regularly update schedule statuses using varied communication channels (phone, email, in-person, MS Teams).
Recognize, assess, and present tasks critical to the project's driving path.
Examine schedule data pertaining to programs, projects, and/or processes using MS Project and MS Excel.
Plan, execute, and track program technical, schedule, and cost status, including risk mitigation efforts.
Prepare and deliver schedule information and data utilizing MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
Requirements:
5-7 years overall work experience.
3 years of experience developing IMS using Microsoft Project.
Knowledge of DoD acquisition milestones, decision points, and processes.
Ability to consolidate the critical paths of numerous projects and product offices into a single IMS.
Ability to lead an IMS team, bringing together business, logistics, and technical elements.
Proficient in MS Project macros.
An active DoD secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
