Today, we are recruiting for a Project Procurement Officer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
Implement pre-defined methods, processes & systems for desired competence (with the support from team lead / senior).
Follow the supplier management processes for newly introduced suppliers.
Coordinate with internal customers.
Validate PR assigned by the team lead before the start of the RFQ process.
Follow up on the quotation process for general tools/consumables of selected lots assigned by the procurement lead.
Identify new/alternate market suppliers.
Market visits (as per team lead instruction).
Support the pricing and T&Cs negotiations before PO issuance, and generally follow up with the suppliers.
Use of global supplier master data management tool for P22 and AP0 suppliers’ registration.
New suppliers’ and contractors’ assessment.
Update procurement documents on O&M SharePoint and monthly procurement register.
Update vendor’s list inputs.
Participate in the procurement part in bi-weekly SCM Jour Fix.
Participate in weekly jour fix between SCM and Commercial.
Contact with SAG for SAP P22 POs and SAP AP0 with SLSA closely.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or equivalent.
2 - 3 years of experience as a project procurement officer in manufacturing or maintenance projects preferably in railway industry.
Familiar with Riyadh suppliers, heavy equipment rental, and commercial markets of tools (electrical, mechanical, and measurement tools and consumables).
Experience in working with SAP.
CMMS system experience will be a plus.
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
