About Project Manager, Social Commerce (SEA Online)

  The Estée Lauder Companies is recruiting a Project Manager for Social Commerce to join our SEA Online team in Singapore. We are looking for a social commerce specialist with strong project management capabilities that has 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in deployment of key social commerce projects in SEA.

  What You Will Achieve

  The role will partner with stakeholders in the APAC region & affiliates to lead social commerce projects, manage partnerships (social commerce platforms, e-commerce enablers, content agencies, media agencies, KOL network) and coordinate to drive successful project roll-out.

  As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for:

  1. Social Commerce Project Management

  • Define the ELC Social Commerce roadmap for SEA working with Global, Regional and Affiliates stakeholders.

  • Ability to build budget estimates and support in budget planning for social commerce projects

  • Work continuously with Finance, IT, Supply Chain, brand team and online teams to ensure the business cases and specifications are translated into project reality

  • Dynamically update the roadmap based on project progression and new requirements

  • Act as single point of contact for the roadmap, communicating the status with senior leaders in the organization.

  • Own Social Commerce project roadmap and be responsible to define project priorities

  • Facilitate learning and sharing of best practices across SEA affiliates and across brands

  2. Documentation and Best Practice Sharing

  • Define and scope processes for roll-out of the projects across all areas: Finance, Supply Chain, Operations and Commercial

  • Support stakeholder in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures to ensure smooth implementation of the processes.

  • Proactively collect best practices from markets and brands and disseminate across the region to support collective learning

  3. Building the Social Commerce Eco-System

  • Identify the required eco-system to build a scalable social commerce business

  • Evaluate and select potential 3rd party vendors and service providers around topics such as store management, Content creation, livestream management, fulfilment

  • Support affiliates to negotiate and conclude supplier contracts to support social commerce

  What You Will Need

  • The individual should have strong interpersonal skills and experience managing complex projects with various stakeholders.

  • 10-15 years of experience in e-commerce/ social commerce project management, ideally with strong social media/ social commerce understanding

  • Strategic mindset, able to bring innovation and challenge status-quo

  • Excellent understanding of SEA Social and e-commerce/ 3PP landscape

  • Demonstrate a sound commercial understanding of digital, social and e-commerce channels

  • Excellent Verbal, Written and PowerPoint presentation skills with demonstrated confidence in communicating with people at all levels

  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving and project mitigation skills
