Description
A prestigious healthcare research institute is seeking for a talented Project Manager, Research to join their organization. The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and be able to manage multiple large research projects simultaneously. These projects will be focused in epidemiology and will maintain NIH standards and guidelines for the RO1 and phase 4 studies. Strong communications skill to partner with researchers on study milestones and reporting trends. Additional responsibilities are below:
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of medium to large scale research studies, ensuring progress and objectives are met
Lead in the development and implementation of study protocols, tools and operation manuals
Monitor and oversee data collection, and conduct comprehensive data analysis
Implement quality control and quality assurance measures
Participate in high-level discussions with funding agencies and research teams from other organizations
Draft IRB protocols, amendments and continuing reviews
Oversee and supervise daily activities of project staff, conducting regular performance appraisals and leading personnel development
Contribute to the development of grant proposals
Prepare and manage project budgets, and develop cost-effective ways to manage study resources
Present professional presentations at professional/scientific meetings and co-author scientific papers for presentation and/ or publication.
Requirements
Minimum of seven (7) years' experience as a project manager in the clinical research field
Epidemiology exposure in either education or work experience
Masters degree in Public Health, Health Care Administration, epidemiology or related field
Proven ability to manage multiple large research projects at a time
Experience with NIH RO1 studies and phase 4 studies is a plus.
