What You Will Do
Our Loading machine integration team is responsible for delivering mainly Excavator grade control platform solutions to the market. This is a highly competitive market with products delivered to Trimble OEM's, Trimble Aftermarket, and CAT GRADE factories. There are key functional groups across CTCT delivering these successful solutions; System Software Development, Positioning & Control Software Development , System Engineering, Marketing Verification & Validation, and kitting and releasing.
As an Engineering Project Manager, your role is to lead the development of core system components with an international system integration team, within an established phase-gate process (T5). You will collaborate with the functional groups above to deliver full T5 projects and system software for inclusion in new product introductions. Travel (including international) will be required but less than 10% of your time.
This role will involve:Ensuring projects meet established schedules, cost targets, and contractual objectives by effectively managing resources, team dynamics, and change control processes while providing contingency plans and problem resolutions as requiredDeveloping a clear understanding of the project scope and project deliverables outlined by key project stakeholdersDeveloping the project schedule and budget, based upon input from the project team, agreeing on resource requirements with the appropriate Functional ManagersDirecting the development of project documentation including business cases, system diagrams, specifications, risk assessments, and project milestone presentationsKeeping project milestones updated in our resource and project management softwareCommunicate regularly with senior management and proactively monitor project needs, identify project risks, and put in place and execute mitigation plans.

About Our CTCT Division
The CTCT division (a joint venture between Trimble and Caterpillar) develops positioning and control products for earthmoving and paving machines in the construction and mining industries, using technologies such as GPS, optical total stations, lasers, and sonics. The products are used in a range of applications where the operator of the machine benefits from having accurate horizontal and vertical guidance.
