As a key member of the team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes.
As a Project Manager with Enovis's Foot & Ankle division, you will be responsible for managing new product development projects from feasibility & planning through launch. Using Project Management techniques, you will help the team successfully execute on projects through effective communication, accountability, committed actions, and proper allocation of resources. Additionally, you be an executor and developer of the PMO business process in which we will run all NPI projects through. By doing this you will be living the PMO mission of providing a consistent approach to managing New Product Development projects by developing partnerships, introducing tools, continually improving existing processes, and providing project insights yielding on-time delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Either leading or supporting project teams cross functionally to ensure everyone is communicating appropriately, managing long term project activities to ensure on time completion, identifying project risks and escalating any risk turned issue.Consulting with all cross functional business partners such as Marketing, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, etc. to clarify and define project requirements, support marketing in the creation of the business case, and establish the full scope of work.Building out complex projects plans, tracking them with team inputs, and helping adjust team priorities to keep the project on track and in focus. Help the team plan and establish a risk registry with defined mitigation and impacts to ensure minimal affect when risks come to fruition as issues.When risks become issues, you will help work towards resolutions, develop recovery plans, and effectively communicate with leadership the path forward. At times you will be interacting and negotiating with mid to senior level management on behalf of the project team along with presenting project updates, goals, and progress.Assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives by including all relevant cross functional team members in the conversation.Using your understanding of design controls and business processes, with the support of the cross functional team, identify all tasks required to complete the project.Executing and developing both PMO business processes and tools that will help facilitate regular reports on project status including timeline, resources, risks, and opportunities.Provide regular reports on project status including timeline, resources, risks, and opportunities.Run regular project meeting to ensure the team is communicating and on track.Be an advocate for the team ensuring they are getting proper support and recognition for the work they are doing.
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.2+ years of experience in product development, marketing, quality, regulatory, or manufacturing.
Travel Requirements:
10 - 20% of the time (as needed)
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters/MBAPMP certificationProject management experienceAbility to multi-task and adjust priorities on projects to support the daily ebbs and flows of new product development.Clearly and concisely communicate ideas, solutions, or issues with cross functional team and with leadership.Capable of driving decision making by listening to the team's inputs, asking the right questions and helping filter to the solution.Effectively holding groups and individuals accountable and committed by walking them through the needs and communicating the importance of the task as hand.Competency in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) and project management tools such as MS project, Planner, LeanKit, etc.Familiarity with Microsoft Access, PowerBI, and PowerAppsExperience understanding and communicating Project Business Case & Project Financial Model.
