AT&T has an opening for SR Associate Government Telecom Support to support the Federal Government, in providing Voice and data circuitry.
The job duties are as follows:
We are seeking a hardworking, dedicated individual who will be able and available to travel at a moment’s notice domestically in support of a contract. Candidates must be able to thrive in a high-pressure / fast moving work environment and must be willing and capable of working independent of supervision. Candidate must have a proven record of Project Managing in a high-pressure environment. Candidates must be willing to be on-call 24x7 and prepared to travel in support of the contract. We are seeking candidates that have strong work ethics and can work efficiently from a virtual office environment. Candidates will be traveling throughout the United States 75 - 90% of the time providing installation, testing, and overseeing critical voice and internet services.
We are only interested in interviewing candidates that meet or exceed all the following skill sets: have a strong background in telecommunications specifically the provisioning of ISP, POTS, cable-based circuitry, broadband as well as managing multiple installations and vast knowledge of testing these circuits. Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Outlook). Candidates must be able to negotiate pricing with varies vendors, establish a timeline for services to be installed, integrate, test, troubleshoot, operate, and coordinate repairs for phone services and high-speed internet services (wired & wireless). This includes analog, digital voice circuits, and high-speed internet networks delivered via Ethernet or via wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi). The ideal candidate must have strong oral, written skills and in good health due to the high travel demand. Must have an excellent driving record.
The Employee will be working in a virtual office environment when not deployed. The Employee is required to maintain a broadband connection at their residence AT&T will not pay for this service, and this is a condition of hire. Employees will be provided with the necessary tools to work from a virtual office environment such as a laptop and secure token. We are ideally looking for a Candidates in the Los Angeles, New York, Michigan, or Arizona area. Occasionally employees will be required to go into an AT&T facility for short periods for briefings, training, etc. No relocation assistance is being provided.
Required Qualifications:
Must have a track record of Project Managing voice and data circuits
Must have a valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
Must be willing to travel 75 – 90 percent of the time to include weekends and holidays
Knowledgeable of routers, modems and be able to create ethernet cables as needed
Must be willing to travel at a moment’s notice
Knowledgeable and well versed in Microsoft Office Suite
Must have an internet connection at your residence
Desired Qualifications:
Project Management experience 3 – 5 years with telecom background
Customer service oriented
Proficient in CAT 6 cabling
Proficient in router configuration
Proficient in time management.
Our Project Manager's earn between $63,700 - $80,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
