We are looking for a Project Manager with 2-3 years of experience managing multiple client projects in a consulting and/or agency environment. A successful candidate will have a clear understanding of and experience in leading all phases of the project lifecycle, including understanding the defined scope, requirements specification and prioritization, communication planning, documentation, and delivery. This role will focus primarily on projects in the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) Portfolio.
Candidates available to work full-time, EST or CST business hours are strongly preferred.
Role and Responsibilities
Manage multiple GMP client projects at various stages of the project lifecycle; work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver projects on-time, within scope, on budget and to client satisfactionPartner with GMP Program Manager for support and growth opportunities Work with SMEs and clients to set appropriate expectations of project scope, objectives, and technical feasibility Develop detailed project plans (based on approved estimates and proposals) to monitor and track project progress Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs Report on project performance to clients and stakeholders Facilitate efficient meetings, including producing detailed agendas, leading discussions, and ensuring action items are identified, assigned, and followed up on Report and escalate client issues and resource utilization concerns Conduct administrative tasks, including timecard review, team member allocations, reporting, and monthly invoicingCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation derived from organizational templates, including kickoff documents, feedback forms, timelines, and budget trackers Obtain Google Analytics certification during first 3 months of employment; additional certification(s) to follow dependent on project focus
Preferred Qualifications
2-3 years of demonstrated project management experience in the marketing and/or technology sectorA technical background with the understanding or hands on experience with web analytics and/or search marketing; basic coding knowledge (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects in an ever-changing environmentSolid organizational skills and a sharp attention to detail Experience with cloud-based tools (Dropbox, Google for Work Apps, etc.) Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Basecamp (2.0), Confluence, Outlook, and OpenAir/NetSuite BA/BS degree or equivalent consulting agency experience preferredAbility to work full-time, EST or CST business hours
$72,000 - $94,000 a year
Individual pay is determined by many factors, including experience, relevant education or training, and organizational needs. The mid-range to maximum of the salary range is generally reserved for individuals who are highly experienced in the role.
