What you will do-
You will be joining the Advanced Operations, New Product Development team as Project Manager. In your role, you will lead your project team in developing the high quality new products in global footprint and ensure completed on-time and within budget. You will support cutting edge medical device products from the early inception phase to commercial launch.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support the launch of the current patient specific implant programCollaborate with key project stakeholders to define, manage and own project scope. Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt chart. Analyze critical path, major workstreams, and intersecting milestones.Be very close to all the activities within the team in order understand the technical challenges, dependencies, identify any needs/gaps, potential issues/roadblocks/risks and with proactive approach to drive robust risk management and mitigation plan.Coordinate with the GQO teams needs for the project. e.g. operations/manufacturing on machine scheduling for development and validation activities; EMS & operations for space and timing of new machine delivery; supply planning on capacity assessment and planning, etc.Create project budget with cross-functional management. Optimize, monitor, and maintain costs within budget.Estimate, acquire and assign cross functional resources. Define the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member. Provide direct feedback to functional manager on performance reviews. Coach and mentor team members. Recruit and onboard resources; participate on hiring teams for cross-functional groups.Develop a stakeholder engagement and communication plan for the project, based on the identification, analysis and understanding of stakeholder expectations and requirements.Builds successful working relationships with internal team, cross-functional team and external personnel in various departmentsHigh in emotional intelligence and stays calm under pressure. Adept in conflict resolutionDrives results in support of the business, even in the face of demanding timelines. Steps up to take on additional responsibility where appropriateExercises good judgment and can weigh benefits and risk to make solid decisions despite ambiguityGrowth mindset - ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment
What you will need-
Bachelors degree in an engineering requiredMinimum 4 years of related work experience in technical and/or project management requiredPMP Certification - preferred
