In your new role as a cyber security professional, you will protect our customer’s most sensitive data and complex systems from all forms of threats including cyber-attacks, insider threats, rogue network devices, and malicious software and applications. You will work with a team of like-minded professionals to share and collaborate upon your ideas to improve the cybersecurity infrastructure, architecture, and configuration deployments. This is a contingent position based upon customer approval.
Position Details and Responsibilities
SkyePoint Decisions is looking for a Project Manager for a 10-person contract with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), supporting the DLA J62B with strategic planning and project management support for DLA's Operational Technology (OT) systems. After a few months of having become acquainted with the project, you will be expected to take on additional project management role(s) as SkyePoint wins additional work.
This is a remote position, with occasional travel in support of the contract.
Responsibilities:
Serve as primary POC to SkyePoint Corporate and the Government (KO, COR, Portfolio and Program Managers, etc.) for all project mattersLead all aspects of contract performance, including technical delivery, and scope, quality, schedule, risk, and stakeholder managementEnsure PWS compliance, to include 100% on-time deliverables, with the goal of first-time acceptanceLead contractor and subcontractor workforce, by providing purpose, direction, motivation, support, and assistanceCreate and present project status reporting to SkyePoint Corporate and the GovernmentIdentify opportunities to delight the customer and secure additional work
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
BS or BA and five years' relevant experienceFive years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector IT and/or consulting fieldsCurrent PMI project management certification (i.e., CAPM, PMP, or PgMP)Active SECRET or higher security clearanceU.S. Citizenship Desired Qualifications:
Experience leading subcontractorsDemonstrated ability to grow existing workUnderstanding of RMF or experience leading a cybersecurity projectExperience producing technology roadmapsExperience performing market research
