Job Title: Operations Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects. Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Reviews status reports, prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems Intermediate ability with Microsoft Project and Visio. Experience in the preparation of management presentations. Working knowledge and experience with project management and project processes Strong analytical, interpersonal, PC and written/verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships across teams and divisions Strong organizational skills and attention to detail under strict deadlines Able to manage to changing priorities in a fast paced environment. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of PM experience with a proven track record of success Experience managing projects in a medium to large corporate environment Proficient in the MS Office Suite with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project 2+ years experience in the healthcare / insurance field preferred Comfortable speaking to all levels of leadership (Director, Vice President etc.) EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience LICENSING/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Project Management certification desirable PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
