JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: SUMMARY The ProjectManager will act as the primary focal point on projects ranging from acustomer specific project to internally driven new product development.As the focal point, the Project Manager shall establish and maintainproject plans, Recurring Action Item Lists, report progress internallyand externally, and manage to the Scope of Work per the definedfinancial budget and deliverables schedule to ensure successful projectcompletion. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Managing project development andexecution from initiation to closure. * Coordinate proper use of theavailable Project Coordinator resource * Work with the project sponsor(internal or external) for the initiation and execution of the phasegate process. * Develop and maintain the project schedule from launchto completion. * Communicate clearly the project expectations to theproject sponsor and team members. * Resolve issues and solve problemsthroughout the project cycle. * Prepares bills and invoice, as well asbudgetary and progress reports * Delegate tasks and responsibilities toappropriate personnel. * Track and provide compliance reports onproject budget and milestone schedule to project sponsor and management.* Leading, coaching, and motivating members of the project team. *Capture project results and lead post-project evaluations to determinethe level of team success and need for process improvements. * Works tobecome an industry and internal expert (knowledge resource) on theproducts and systems for which they are responsible. * Build, develop,and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.* Leads or assists efforts in creating statements of work when such isnot provided by the customer. * Proactively manage changes in projectscope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans. *Costing / pricing review and setting sell price * Contract review *Customer relationship development and maintenance * Continuousimprovement in processes, documents, and reports. * Quotation efforts* Contributes to team effort in a collaborative and supportive manner.* Maintains clean, organized work environment and adheres to all safetystandards, procedures, and regulations. * Adheres to all factory safetyprocedures and guidelines. *Other duties as required in support of thedepartment and the company* QUALIFICATIONS To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential jobfunction satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted onequivalent basis * Associate degree in Business or Technology relatedfield related field or demonstrated equivalent work experience. * 5+years hand-on experience in project management role or similar functionCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS * Project managementcertification desired, i.e., CAPM / PMP, or other Project Managementaccredited certifications. LANGUAGE SKILLS * Ability to read, write,speak, and understand English. * Proficient written and verbalcommunication skills.
