  What does the role look like?

  Lead and guide the Programme Integrated Product Team (IPT) as a Project Manager/IPT Lead, collaborating closely with Programme Managers. Serve as the main point of contact for suppliers and customers on various programme-related matters, facilitating prioritization and task distribution within the IPT while fostering collaboration with other functions. Deliver comprehensive metrics, report on programme status, and formulate both short-term and long-term plans for the IPT.

  Directly reporting to the Programme Manager, this role involves being the primary liaison between Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering, both internally and externally with customers and suppliers.

  This role is characterized by its hands-on nature and technical complexity, demanding strong communication skills and the ability to make prompt decisions. Success in this position hinges on the effective coordination of specialized expertise across the organization.

  What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

  Plan and prioritize PM tasks within the IPT in collaboration with program management.

  Maintain and provide advance notice of resource requirements in collaboration with functional managers.

  Liaise with both internal and external suppliers across all functions.

  Capture, report, and take action on standard project management metrics, including EVMS, and qualitative and quantitative quality metrics.

  Support cost reduction activities and initiatives aimed at reducing scrap.

  Provide signatory approval for technical documents, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and concessions.

  Host internal reviews (MRB, IPT, supplier performance, etc.) and present project status to senior leadership.

  Attend program reviews, reporting the status of projects.

  Attend customer reviews, report project status, and serve as the voice of the customer for PM.

  Professionally report progress to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) through agreed-upon forums.

  Negotiate and acquire necessary resources to achieve project deliverables.

  Track, maintain, and regularly report on Key Project Indicators.

  Report and manage risks, changes, and issues.

  Ensure governance and compliance with policies and procedures to meet contract commitments and execute project requirements.

  Maintain a professional personal presentation in communication and proactively collaborate with key stakeholders, both in-country and across international teams.

  Lead and champion continuous improvement and continuous learning initiatives.

  What will you bring to the role?

  Essential skills:

  More than five years of expertise in the Aerospace/Defence sector (Or Similar)

  Demonstrates proficient project management capabilities

  Proficient in cross-team collaboration, with strong communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders. Capable of leading company representation in various forums while maintaining professional standards consistently.

  Desirable skills:

  Passionate about cost and dedicated to fostering a cost-conscious culture within the Value Stream.

  Familiarity with project management IT tools (such as MS Project) and knowledge of earned value techniques would be advantageous.

  Holds a degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in project management or Aerospace Engineering.

  Brings experience in a matrix environment.

  Self-starter with the ability to harness new ideas.
