Job Description
Based in Zephyr Cove, Nevada, The Project Management Associate reports to the Resident District Manager (RDM)/Resort Manager - Tahoe and works closely with Facilities Services at Aramark?s corporate office. The Project Management Associate leads implementation of project documentation and deliverables in the Lake Tahoe district and is responsible for timely communication with government and business partners as well as regional and corporate leadership, including scope development, planning, contracting, construction, and closeout activities. This position ranges in pay from $27-34/hour.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in the process of gathering and prioritizing project requirements in collaboration with leadership, team members, and external partners.
Partner with leadership to set project direction and translate production strategy into a development plan.
Define, develop, manage and document project schedule/milestones, proactively drive project-related issues to appropriate resolution, and plan for contingencies due to construction-related risks.
Provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance goals against technical constraints to negotiate schedules.
Work with the USFS, suppliers and subcontractors to influence mitigations, acceleration, and support negotiations for contracts, project changes, and claims.
Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the development cycle.
Coordinate project progress through effective meetings and use of project management software.
Contribute knowledge to team including training and apply lessons learned.
Qualifications
Experience: You have 1-3 years project management experience, or commensurate experience that is transferable.
Education: 4-year undergraduate degree, preferably in a technical field such as engineering, architecture, construction management, or 7 years equivalent work experience in project management.
Intuition: an intuitive understanding of the demands of a fast-paced, hospitality environment.

Communication: an ability to express yourself concisely, a willingness to speak up, and a conviction to keep everyone informed of progress and issues.
