  Collins Aerospace's Global Engineering & Technology Center in Puerto Rico (GETC-PR) is looking for a Project Engineer to join our Power & Controls organization. We are looking for a strong, passionate problem-solver with an action-oriented, collaborative mindset who strives to exceed expectations.In this role you will support the Integrated Product Development Team to certify the 777-9 Dual and Condenser Heat Exchangers as acceptable FFU (Fit-For-Use) components on the Freighter platform. You also will be in a cross disciplinary team environment and will need to be able to thrive on tackling challenges, as the position requires the use of problem-solving skills in a hands-on work environment to address hardware issues and improvements after program development and entry into service.This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. Candidate must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.Primary Responsibilities:

  Responsible for supporting and managing program statement of work.Responsible for creation of detailed technical schedule, execution of these schedules.Responsible to track budget and Earned Value (EV) for the programPrepare presentations and present program status, milestones, risks, mitigation plans, etc. at regularly scheduled program reviews.Work intimately with Integrated Product Development Team (IPT) (engineering, ops, program management and others) to achieve program successIdentify and mitigate project risks (technical, schedule, cost, quality, etc.) to prevents risks from becoming issues.Collaborate with functional leaders to manage project resources.Record and documents delay, changes in scope, and any other incidents that impact the scope of work or schedule to ensure smooth project operations.Perform critical path analysis and prepares and implements work-around plans to ensure the successful completion of projects.Oversee and coordinates the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.Meet program schedules and budgets and support in the maintenance of the integrated master schedules for projects.Manage program requirements to ensure on-time execution of internal and customer deliverables.Able to travel 10% to 15% to support design reviews and program deliverablesQualifications/Experience Needed:

  Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.Preferred Qualifications:
