Additional duties include:• Serve as the primary point of contact for clean energy workforce development and training programs in the Syracuse region• Help connect businesses, educational institutions and other training providers to jobseekers• Attend and serve on various regional task forces addressing clean energy employment and training• Build and maintain a strong relationship with training providers and business groups• Help convene regional industry stakeholders to evaluate and understand their hiring, skills, and training needs• Help align regional funding streams to support related programming• Identify community-based organizations and service providers to help recruit candidates and provide wrap-around services to address the goals of serving disadvantaged communitiesPosition specific job duties may include occasional altered work schedule or job assignments which require availability and willingness to work occasional evenings and/or out-stationed assignments.Certain positions may allow telecommuting up to 2 days per week dependent on operational needs.
