Description:
The purpose of this position is to provide professional support and ongoing management assistance of multiple grant projects.
Assists the Director of Grants and Procurement in administering program grants. This also includes management of all details of pre- and post-award grants.
Obtains required information internally and externally to draft documents for grant applications and grant-related reports.
Utilizes system software to apply for and track grants and other reporting requirements.
Ensures compliance with Federal, State and Local requirements regarding allowable expenses and other regulatory requirements depending on grant source.
Coordinates and works with organizations to ensure that grant projects and their funding are appropriately identified in the improvement programs.
May perform associated accounting and financial work associated with the grant programs.
Ensures that appropriate documentation and accurate records exist to support grant management.
Provides justification and summaries on the use of grant funds as required; assists with milestone and financial reports for each grant as required.
Monitors grant expenditures to ensure actual expenditures do not exceed the projected expenditures and that expenditures are allowable based on the source of funds. Tracks draw downs, ensuring that all policies are followed.
Assist in developing quarterly grant reports and other reports as needed.
Maintains files and records and ensure compliance with local, state and federal recordkeeping requirements.
Provides ongoing support to various departments as it pertains to grant management.
Identifies, researches and recommends new potential sources of funding and grant assistance.
