  About the RoleThe Plant Initiative Manager is the first point of contact for the site for all product, material, and equipment optimizations. Together with local stakeholders, the Site Initiative Manager drives and executes action plans supporting the countrys business masterplan. This role owns fast, accurate execution in innovation projects and cost savings initiatives through both short and long-term action plans.

  Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is currently seeking a Plant Initiatives Manager for our manufacturing facility in Cherokee, AL.

  What You Will DoDrives the process for change management of new or existing products/features and other product related activities, such as value creation activities or quality improvements;Owns and coordinates the site portfolio for all innovation initiatives, and has single point responsibility to bring forward recommendations and cost savings initiatives to the country cross functional team;Provides regular updates to site leadership and departments concerning coming innovations and prioritization of initiatives;Creates and develops appropriate levels of communication externally and between departments;Owns ChAMP process execution and models first-time-right change management behaviors and processes (Risk Assessments, Trials Planning, Manufacturing Checklist);Drives unification of technical platforms and procedures between different departments in the plant, as well as with other sites in the country;Supports site leadership team in preparation of budget and forecasting;Demonstrates a continuous improvement leadership style and is comfortable on the manufacturing floor.##

  Time to Market/Project Launch Timing;Manufacturing Cost and EBIT Improvement;Quality Parameters.##

  Who You AreBachelors degree required, preferably in an Engineering or related technical discipline;Strong manufacturing background. At least 5 years experience in operations management or production/project organization;Experience in project management preferred;Experience in Tissue Technology preferred.##
