  Zantech is looking for an upcoming talented Programmer – Lead (onsite at Army National Guard Readiness Center – 111 South George Mason Drive Arlington, VA 22204-1382) who can perform software design tasks on his/her own using a major enterprise system. Ensures a logical construction plan is maintained and followed in developing solutions modules. Must have in-depth knowledge of software engineering design patterns, their implementation and usage. Provides guidance for construction of solution modules and troubleshoots and corrects technical implementation issues. Performs as the technical expert for software design and development.

  Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  Responsible for providing technical guidance and mentorship to a team of software developers.

  Work with the entire team (Developers, Testers, Analysts and leadership) to understand new functionality and provide feedback regarding user interfaces.

  Overseeing the operations of a programming team.

  Meeting with clients to discuss product specifications before development.

  Training new software developers and computer programmers.

  Writing custom code for clients using HTML and CSS.

  Delegating tasks to programmers in areas like design, coding and testing.

  Ensuring that all programmers have the resources and tools they need.

  Monitoring the progress of other programmers and developers.

  Setting and meeting production goals.

  Organizing large databases to keep track of important information.

  Adhering to deadlines from clients.

  Support the team through updating and writing SOPs and Documentation via technical and non-technical writing.

  Attend meetings and prepare meeting minutes for delivery to the attendees.

  Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

  B.A. or B.S. Degree.

  Minimum of 3 years of equivalent experience in a related field.

  Minimum of 3 years computer programming experience to include course work.

  Exceptional knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office Products.

  Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.

  Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment.

  Excellent English oral and written communication skills.

  High business and technical aptitude to learn new applications.

  Strong interpersonal skills to work directly multiple contractor and government teams.

  Strong self-motivation and organizational skills.

  Experience with computer based training software.

  Required Security Clearance:

  US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.“Outstanding Performance…Always!”
