We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic and organized individual to provide administrative and programmatic support to Program Managers in the Integrated Warfare Systems Program Area. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting the development of groundbreaking solutions for the U.S. Navy. As a Program Office Administrator, you will...
Play an integral role in supporting program and project planning and execution including arranging regular and special events; communicating with Government and industry organizations, scheduling meetings, conferences, and sponsor visits; poviding logistical support and helping to facilitate small to large classified meetings; drafting agendas, assembling briefing materials, and pushing slides for classified and unclassified presentations.Assist the Program Managers in organizing communications, compiling data calls, running reports, and tracking task execution. Assist in the review, editing, and tracking of program documents and databases. Proofread and format documents and presentationsAssist the Program Area Manager Administrator in the management of the group office including purchasing and reconciling equipment, materials and supplies; managing shipping and receiving of classified documents and materials; supporting staff in travel arrangements, processing travel reimbursements, and managing calendars; other duties as assigned.Work with the Program Operations Coordinators (POCs) to implement Program Task Management Plans, Quality Management, Security Assurance, Export/Import Control and other processes relevant to the Program Area's work.
Qualifications
You will meet our minimum requirements if you...
Hold an Associate's degree in business, economics or other related field, or have equivalent level of experience.Have 5+ years of relevant administrative/programmatic support experience. Have demonstrated ability to work on complex, dynamic, and multiple administrative and program tasks independently with little supervision. Willing to take on additional work and challenges and to develop new skills. Proficient in MS Office suite in production of documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a Government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship. Willing to work full-time on site at the Laurel, MD campus.

Hold a BA/BS degree in business, economics or other pertinent fieldHold an active Secret level or higher security clearanceHave prior experience with APL-specific practices and procedures, software and databases (e.g. RMIS, EBSS, Data Warehouse, etc)Working knowledge of project management and database software (e.g. MS Project and Access)Special Working Conditions: Irregular working hours and/or occasional travel may be required to meet emergent needs. Willing to work in closed areas as needed.
