The Program Manager, People Development develops, implements, manages, and facilitates learning and development programs on behalf of the People team within PitchBook. This role applies their expertise in adult learning, learning & development, and leadership development to ensure effective and efficient capability building that targets critical skills and behaviors that drive success and meet business needs while integrating PitchBook’s culture. The primary areas of focus are individual contributor skill development, career and emerging leader development, and curriculum/program management.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Deliver career and professional development programs to support the ramp and ongoing development of individual contributors. These programs support PitchBook’s values, growth initiatives, and reinforce role competencies Facilitate various professional development, soft skills, IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Allyship), and leadership development learning experiences for all levels of leaders Manage existing global learning and development programs from end to end, owning and driving: program measurement, program reviews, and program improvements Communication with stakeholders, sponsors, and other areas as needed Develop collaborative relationships with HR Partners, key business leaders, subject matter experts, and other PB Learning team members to identify performance improvement opportunities, close knowledge gaps, support various talent management initiatives, organizational effectiveness programs, and organizational change initiatives Conduct needs analysis, design, and develop new learning experiences, measure the impact and success of the experience, and make recommendation(s) for turning it into a scalable, consistent, and sustainable learning and development program Work with the instructional design team to develop blended, classroom-based, virtual facilitation and e-learning programs, and develop training materials as needed Work cross-functionally to develop learning and development solutions that improve business results through increased retention, improved engagement, and developing high-performing employees Assist employees and managers in assessing their current performance and determining learning and development needs. Recommend solutions, arranging for training sessions, or developing customized training sessions as needed. Follow up to assess the effectiveness of recommended programs Apply decision-making skills, creativity, and expertise in learning theory to the co-development and implementation efforts that support PitchBook’s leadership development strategy Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 5+ years of professional experience in the learning and development field Demonstrated success with designing, developing, and managing complex learning and development curriculum and programs Demonstrated experience interacting and partnering with senior leadership Demonstrated experience creating innovative and effective learning content Ability to create and facilitate an engaging and effective learning environment, both in-person and in live virtual training environments Creative thinker, self-starter with a proactive approach to resolving problems and issues Ability to juggle multiple priorities and complete work with a high level of quality and attention to detail Bring a customer service mentality to projects and tasks Work well independently and as part of teams Eager to learn, grow, and build skills while working in a fast-paced environment Periodic flexibility to work outside normal working hours (evenings, early mornings) A plus if previously managed people and/or experience facilitating manager and leadership development A plus if already certified in Crucial Conversations, Situational Leadership II, DiSC, and/or Influencer Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily

Compensation
Annual base salary: $97,200-$140,000 Target annual bonus percentage: 10%
*Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.
Working Conditions:
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
