Description
Amazon is looking for a program manager to join the team to transform the way we support brands looking to grow their business on Amazon through launching a series of paid services. This role calls for someone who is a highly effective Program Manager with a proven passion for 3 things: (1) launching a new service, (2) working and managing the cross-functional teams, and (3) leveraging latest technology and science to transform how we engage millions of customers. You are responsible to work with head of paid service to define the paid service strategy to improve vendor experience and launch/execute the strategy. You will work closely with cross functional partners including business, product, operations and tech partners to: (a) map out the pain points in the end-to-end vendor experience, (b) benchmark external services and identify the source of competitiveness, (c) identify opportunity and build the paid service product roadmap, (d) work with business and tech partners to build the paid services, (e) define go-to-market strategy and launch to vendors, and (f) measure, inspect and improve performance metrics.
The right candidate has been in a team building and launching a new services/products in an environment where priorities shift fast and ambiguity is ever present. You know how to be scrappy but build for scale. You are analytical and data-driven, can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, and can influence broad range of stakeholders. The role requires innovative thinking balanced with a strong customer, quality, and financial focus. The program manager will have a strong track record of achieving that balance. The program manager will report to head of paid vendor services.
Key job responsibilities
Understand the pain point of vendors by designing and running voice of customer mechanism.
Conduct external benchmarking study to understand the competitive landscape
Deepdive and identify the key improvements needed to bar-raise vendor experiences.
Define the strategy and roadmap of the paid service.
Run strategy review with leadership team to gain feedback and alignment.
Drive program review mechanism with retail leadership team.
Work closely with broad stakeholder and define ways to close the gap and conflict.
Own P&L for the paid service, including the annual planning

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of program or project management experience
3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
Business level Japanese and English language
