The second-largest department within the College of Medicine, Internal Medicine is made up of nine divisions, each with dedicated staff and world-renowned faculty members who provide the best evidence-based care to patients while conducting leading-edge research and providing the most innovative and hands-on education to the physicians and researchers of tomorrow.The Department of Internal Medicine is hiring a full-time Program Manager, Medical Student Education to manage, design, develop, modify, medical student educational curriculum under the leadership of the physician director. This individual will ensure curriculum, protocols, and interventions utilize the most up to date evidence-based practices and best practices in the field.Essential FunctionsManage, design, develop, modify, and present programs.Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations.Implement policies and procedures.Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities, and community organizations.May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials.May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff.Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.Required EducationBachelor's Degree.Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.Required ExperienceThree (3) years of relevant experiencePhysical Requirements/Work EnvironmentOffice environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.Compensation and BenefitsUC offers a wide array of complementary and affordable benefit options, to meet the financial, educational, health, and wellness needs of you and your family.
