Description
Amazon is looking for a self-driven, team-oriented, and passionate Program Manager to join the Licensed Sports team. The Licensed Sports team is responsible for retail partnerships and selection expansion with professional leagues (e.g. NFL, NBA, NHL) and collegiate properties (e.g. NCAA) on Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
The Program Manager will focus on continuous improvement and development of programs including brand protection, reporting dashboards, customer insights, and catalog excellence. The Program Manager needs to be willing to roll their sleeves up and juggle competing priorities to deliver results on behalf of customers (both internal and external). The Program Manager will serve as a coordinator across internal teams including Vendor Management, Business Development, and Product supporting sports-related events and activations throughout the year.
A day in the life
Audit and maintain existing brand protection mechanisms to ensure League and Team IP are properly protected
Onboard new IP properties to Amazon brand protection programs
Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to identify business insights and opportunities
Create SOPs to improve catalog accuracy and consistency across Licensed Sports catalog
Share weekly performance, learnings, upcoming launches with leadership during Weekly Business Reviews
Input strategies/performance recaps into forward-looking strategy docs and/or hindsight docs

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of program or project management experience
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
3+ years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
