Your role
We're looking for a Program Manager to:
• focus on increasing junior talent retention and ROI on hiring programs
• identify future skills requirements and develop a comprehensive learning agenda
• ensure that UBS maintains a market competitive offering for junior talent
• provide timely feedback on issues to relevant stakeholders and develop remediation plans
• oversee the development of the junior talent population within GBAmericas at Analyst and Associate levels (EE-AD)
• plan junior talent hiring numbers in coordination with the Chief of Staff and Junior Talent Teams and coordinate end to end TGP, Internship and Veteran Association hiring efforts within Global Banking, in line with the overall Junior Talent strategy
• own the on-boarding strategy and contribute to induction events, and work with the Chief of Staff teams to coordinate the placement of Analysts and Interns where most needed and review the effectiveness of key initiatives such as hiring, placement, mobility, feedback on a biannual basis

Your team
You'll be working as part of the Global Banking Americas Management team in New York. We have oversight of the Front to Back environment for GB. Our team focuses on making sure our business operates effectively to manage risks, maximize profits and control costs whilst being compliant with regulations, policies and procedures.
Your expertise
• prior experience of involvement in large scale, global change projects/programs leading to a successful conclusion with excellent task definition, tracking and management skills
• experience of working in the business (Front Office/Middle Office) or operations area of an Investment Bank; experience of working in a Chief of Staff type role and comfortable liaising with senior management;
• ability to demonstrate a good understanding of how an Investment Bank operates front to back with awareness of how to develop junior talent
• excellent analytical skills with particular emphasis on handling large and complex data sets with the ability to identify key patterns and extrapolate from these a statement business impact
• clear verbal and written communication skills to manage interactions with senior stakeholders in the business, operations and technology including the ability to explain complex issues in a simple and structured way.
