Description
Our team is looking for a Program manager to work with various stakeholder groups to procure data center capacity, support long term scaling strategies for AWS’s infrastructure regions, and manage a portfolio of critical infrastructure agreements. As the Program Manager, you will research, manage and facilitate all areas of transaction deal flow related to data center procurement projects in the region across all commercial deals.

Our Program Managers lead teams of internal and external stakeholders through all stages of the Data Center commercial lifecycle as designed in our Supply Qualification process from initial site due diligence through Construction and into Operation. The core role of the program manager is to support delivering capacity for our customers through developing stakeholder programs, process development and working closely with various
identify risks and resolve issues to ensure those agreements are executed on time.
Key job responsibilities
Program management, Process development and optimization:
• Lead stakeholder engagement management across the organization through continuous process review and optimization
• Leads program management and process mapping efforts and identifies and prioritizes opportunities for improvement
• Evaluates prioritizes, recommends and leads improvement opportunities and changes to existing processes
• Supports implementation activities and interacts with DCSS teams to accomplish process improvement objectives to achieve sustainable results
• Meets with stakeholders to define business requirements and goals, designs and documents workflow, manages user expectations, and works collaboratively across the enterprise
• Provides problem-solving expertise to effectively work teams to deep dive and resolve ineffective processes.
• Tracks and controls progress, schedules to achieve completion of projects within time projections
• Working with the region strategy manager on any process development, improvements or automation efforts.
• Preparing proposals and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
• Overseeing all aspects related to the implementation stages of business process improvement initiatives.
• Analyzing and monitoring implemented changes to business processes and making adjustments as needed.
• Guiding and supervising personnel who were assigned specific tasks.
• Performing ongoing analyses on business processes related to productivity, quality, costs, and time management.
• Presenting progress reports and integrating feedback.
• Revising and updating procedures and policies.
Compliance
• Creating mechanisms for storing and reviewing regulatory compliance documentation per cluster
• Coordinating the creation, review and implementation of internal policies and procedures
• Designing and coordinating the preparation and ongoing review of policies, procedures, training materials and other communication tools to ensure DCSS meet AWS compliance requirements
General
• Development of strategic/organization/process related documents for all organization related docs
• Develop, maintain, coordinate and tracking of training through KNET/DCSS academy related to process training

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Science/Engineering
• 3+ years of program management experience, in capital projects/physical infrastructure or commercial agreements
• Proven ability to effectively manage large scale budgets is essential (e.g Building infrastructure projects)
• Industry experience across either data center, networking engineering, systems engineering or construction management Understanding of critical environments, and large capital projects and technologies (Electrical, Mechanical, Construction, Structural etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in management of complex technology infrastructure projects.
• Experience of data center design, construction and fit out projects
• Experience with and understanding of multiple project management methodologies, PMP/ Prince2 certification a plus
• Experience of delivering projects with multiple stakeholders across multiple locations in Europe, Middle East & Africa
